Convert a Word file to a template
Transform your static Word documents into dynamic assets. By converting your .docx files into Contractbook templates, you unlock the ability to power automations, track key data points, and streamline your contract workflow.
Create a template from Word
Go to the Templates tab in the main menu.
Click the blue New template button.
Select Create a template from Word from the dropdown menu.
Choose the .docx file from your computer, and click Open to begin the upload.
Once the attached file is processed, the new template will be generated and automatically displayed for further formatting.
Wait for the system to process the file.
Once finished, a notification will appear confirming the conversion is complete and the template will be displayed for review.
Finalizing your new template
Once the Word file is imported, it becomes a native Contractbook template. You can use the editor’s features to format it further.
