Manage your notification settings
You can customize your email, in-app notifications and manage your language preferences, to help you stay correctly updated about your contract workflows in Contractbook.
Update language settings and signee type
Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select Profile settings from the menu.
Select your own default Signee type (individual or company).
Choose your preferred Application language (English, Danish, Norwegian, or Deutsch).
Set your Email notifications language (English, Danish, or Deutsch).
Configure email notifications
Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select Profile settings from the menu.
Scroll down to the Email notifications section to review and edit your email notification preferences.
Enable the specific type of notifications you want to receive. Changes apply immediately without needing to save.
Click View list to expand the overview of actions in Contractbook which are included under each notification group.
Configure and review recent in-app notifications
In-app notifications allow you to track real-time contract and workflow activities without cluttering your email inbox.
To review in-app notifications:
Click on the bell icon in the top menu, on the left side of your profile icon to review your recent in-app notifications directly from your dashboard.
To edit your in-app notifications:
Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select Profile settings from the menu.
Scroll down to the In-app notifications section to review and edit your in-app notification preferences.
Enable the specific type of notifications you want to receive. Changes apply immediately without needing to save.
Click View list to expand the overview of actions in Contractbook which are included under each notification group.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the notification settings for other users in my company, collaborators or my contract recipients?
No, you can only configure notifications for your own individual account. You cannot disable or enable them for your contract recipients, other company users, or external collaborators. Each person must log in and manage their own notification preferences within their profile settings in Contractbook to change the default setup.
Does my email notification language apply to the emails my collaborators receive?
No, the Email notifications language you select only applies to the emails you receive from Contractbook application. Any emails sent to your recipients, collaborators, or other users from your company will be sent in the language they have selected under their own profile settings.
