

Recover deleted documents
Requesting document recovery requires specific permissions. To restore mistakenly deleted Contractbook documents, you must have rights to "Manage all contracts" in your company or be the creator of the document. Ensure you have this permission enabled before proceeding, or contact your company administrator for help.
Once confirmed, follow these steps to request a recovery:
Retrieve a deleted document
If you need to recover a deleted contract, imported file, draft or template, our Support team can assist you. While you cannot recover a deleted document directly from your account interface, our developers can intervene to restore it.
Required details for document recovery
To help us restore your document, gather as many of the following details as possible before contacting our Support team:
Send us the document title.
Specify the document state, such as draft, pending, rejected, signed (PDF, Word, AI import) or template.
Provide the name of the document creator.
Describe the steps taken upon deletion, including whether any content was changed before deleting the file.
State from which location the document was deleted, such as private or shared company space.
Include any additional details you have, related to the date and time of the document's creation and deletion.
