Using your Contract views

Managing contract views allows you to filter and organize your documents across all stages, from draft to signed. All users automatically have a default "My contracts" view. However, accessing the default "All contracts" view including all company contracts requires specific permissions. To view all company-wide contracts in this view, you must have user permissions to “Manage all contracts” enabled on your user account.

Navigate your default contract views

Every user can work with contract views to organize their repository efficiently.

  • Click on the Contracts tab from the main navigation menu.

  • Select My contracts from the top of the left-hand sidebar to see your personal default view.

  • Select All contracts to view all company documents (if you have the required user permissions).

Create and customize a new contract view with columns and filters

You can build custom contract views to apply specific filters, add columns and custom data fields to the overview of documents.

  • Click on the Contracts tab from the main navigation menu.

  • Click on the + Add view button in the left-hand sidebar to create a new custom contract view. Type in a name for the contract new view.

  • Click on the three dots next to the title of any existing column and use the options to move its position to the left, or right. You can also hide a column entirely if it is not needed in this particular contract view.

  • Add filters at the top of the view to narrow down the specific contracts you want to see by filtering their status, parties, source template, location, ownership, status, language, tags, title, AI upload or verification, creation date, and any other custom data field.

  • Click on Save filters button above the overview to ensure all added filters are saved for next steps.

Save your custom view

Once you have added your preferred columns and applied filters, you can save the layout for future use under your account.

  • Click on Save as new view at the top right-hand side of the screen to preserve your new customized contract view.

  • Can I rename or delete a Contract view later?

Yes. You can click the checkbox next to the Title column to select all or specific contracts on your contract view page. You can then trigger bulk actions, such as Move to contract spaces, delete, or add tasks

  • Can I hide the contract title column?

No, the contract title is the only column in your contract views that you cannot hide or move to the right or left in the table overview. You can only sort it in ascending or descending alphabetical order.
