Salesforce variables in Contractbook automations
To build automations in integration with external applications that apply to all company contracts or utilize templates from shared template spaces, you must have user permissions to “Manage all contracts” enabled for your account, be the creator, or have shared “Manage templates” permissions in the specific source template space. Note: Automations and integrations with external tools are premium features that are not included in all plans. If you do not see the Automations tab or cannot establish a connection with external tools from your account, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager for more information on how to get these features.
To understand what types of salesforce variables can I use in my automated workflows, the in-app automation builder allows you to seamlessly pull data directly from your CRM into your contract drafts to eliminate manual data entry.
Available Salesforce variables
When configuring your integrated workflow, you can fetch and map data using the following standard Salesforce variables:
Opportunity
Opportunity owner
Opportunity account
Opportunity contact
Opportunity Record Type
Opportunity contact list variables

How to map Salesforce variables in automations
If you need to know how to fetch Salesforce data directly to your Contractbook data fields, follow these steps within the automation builder to automatically sync your data:
Click on the Automations tab from the main menu on the left side of the screen.
Click the Create new button in the top right corner of the page.
Select your desired Salesforce trigger event from the dropdown options (for example, "Flow is completed").
Define the Object type for the Salesforce Flow and add the settings in the module under Relationships and Record types fields.
Automation starts when the Contractbook flow in Salesforce is completed.
Click the Add action button and select an automatic action such as Create a draft.
Click the input fields within the action setup and use the variables menu to select the specific Salesforce variables you want to add to your contract draft when the automation starts.
Click the Save button to confirm your automation setup.
