Trigger an automation when an AI uploaded contract is verified
To trigger an automation when a company contract is verified, you must have user permissions to “Manage all contracts” enabled for your account. To include contracts from shared contract spaces in the automated workflow, you need to have permissions to “Manage contracts” in the shared contract space, or be the creator of the specific space.

Set up the contract verified trigger
To learn what happens after an AI upload or how to start an automation from a verified contract, you can use the verification step as an automatic trigger. This allows you to start an automated process every time an uploaded with AI contract is fully verified (meaning all extracted data fields in the uploaded contract are verified after the import has been completed).
Click the Automations tab from the main navigation menu on the left side of the screen.
Click the blue Create new button in the top right corner of the page.
Search for and select Contract verified from the trigger drop-down menu.
As the helper text confirms, the automation will start when a contract uploaded by AI is fully verified.

Choose the automation action
Now that the trigger is successfully set up, you need to define the action that occurs automatically when the contract is verified.
Click the Add action button located directly below your saved trigger.
Select your desired outcome from the list of available actions. You can choose to Create a draft, Create or update data fields, or Move to a space to directly share the imported and verified contract with relevant stakeholders or add it to one of your private contract spaces.
Configure the specific details of your chosen action. You can auto-populate this action with document or automation - related events and data points, after double-clicking on the specific field you want to use within the action module.

You can fetch any of your company's data fields that were extracted and verified during the AI upload to dynamically populate this step of your workflow. To do that, click on the desired field in the action module, and select Other data fields.

Click the blue Save button to confirm your action settings.

Publish and monitor your workflow
Click the Automation name field in the upper left corner to give your workflow a clear, descriptive title.
Click the blue Publish button in the top right corner to activate the new automated process.
